Healthy Holiday Gift Guide 2017

Looking for a healthy spin on your gifts this year?  Look no further!  Here are my favorite healthy-focused (mind and body) products to get your holiday gift planning started.

NogginStik – This is the best baby rattle you’ve never heard of!  This developmentally-friendly rattle does it all; lights up with different colors, has a soft rattle noise, and texture.  It encourages visual tracking and mastering grasp.  Recommended for Birth to 12 months.

Yookidoo Bath Toys – These have been by far my favorite bath toys for the kids.  Not only are they developmentally friendly, but they don’t get moldy and require a lot of care like other toys.  Recommended for 6 months to 6 years.  These are my favorites:

Osmo – If your child is going to be on the iPad or iPhone, get them playing these interactive, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) games where they interact with objects in front of them instead of the touchscreen.  It’s tough to explain so click on the link and watch a few videos.  Recommended for ages 5 to 12 (but my 4-year-olds use it).  I highly recommend just springing for the Explorer Kit so you get everything in one.

Kiwi Crate – With STEM crate for every age from birth to age 16+, there’s something for everyone.  Kids love getting mail and you’ll love the focused time together doing the projects.  My personal tip: Don’t be afraid to get them a crate for the next age up!

Letters to Me, When I Grow Up – This is perfect for the sentimental kid in your life who’ll want to look back on their younger self.  Recommended for ages 7 to 13.

There’s nothing better than giving the gift of clean ingredient beauty!

Kopari Face the Day and Night Kit – For the coconut oil-obsessed beauty lover, these products are a must-have.  I don’t know how I ever lived without the Rose Toner.  For the lip lover, also check out the Coconut Kiss Kit which makes for an awesome stocking stuffer!

Function of Beauty Personalized Shampoo & Conditioner – Whether you purchase a gift card or a physical set, is there anything cooler than a product specially formulated for someone with their name on it?  Check out this blog post if you’d like to learn more.

Tyme Iron – If you know me in real life, I’ve probably convinced you to buy this already.  It straightens, it curls, and it does it all so much faster than anything else I’ve ever tried.  It definitely has a learning curve, but once they get the hang of it they will thank you over and over again.

BeautyCounter Flawless in Five – This all-in-one kit is everything someone needs to go from clean face to flawless in just a few minutes.  There are countless videos online about how to use this kit from start to finish.

Youth to the People Fresh Pressed Superfood Skin Kit – This kit smells AH-MAZING and the products work!

Kitchen & Home

Corkcicle Triple-Insulated Stemless Glass – Let’s be real… this is for wine.

Paderno Spiralizer – This is one of the most used gadgets in my home.  Who doesn’t love something spiralized?  It’s a great way to get kids to eat their vegetables, add some fun flair to a salad, or make the ever-famous zucchini noodle!

Kombucha Brewing Kit – Have a friend or family member who’d like to try to make their favorite booch brew themselves?  This is a great way to get them started!  You can also throw in a great recipe book and glass bottles to complete the gift.

Instant Pot – Everyone needs this in their life!  Normally I would never encourage getting someone an appliance, but I make an exception for this one!  This is a time saver, an all-in-one appliance that allows someone to get rid of other appliances, and is taller than it is wider so it doesn’t take up too much space.

Stu’s Bloody Mary Kits – If you know a bloody mary fan, this is a must!  You will never find a better mix than these.  These kits are one of my favorite host gifts for when I’m attending a dinner at someone’s house over the holidays.

Just for Him

Beer Cap Map – For the ultimate beer fan!  So maybe beer isn’t so “healthy,” but this is made out of wood and it’s pretty cool!

TriggerPoint GRID Foam Roller – If he likes to work out, a foam roller is a must.  If you really love him, spring for the Rumble Roller.

SmartWool Trekking Heavy Crew Socks – For the winter sports enthusiast these are a must.  There’s nothing like a thick pair of merino wool socks!  They are breathable but warm, wick away moisture and never smell.  Are these magic socks?

Espro Travel Coffee Press – This is super convenient (and non-spill) for when he’s on the go to work or out on the slopes.  Add a bag of coffee to complete the gift.

Bowflex SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells – When I bought these for my husband, they were a little bit of a gift for me too.  Why?  Because there wouldn’t be a million dumbells all over the place.  This is nice and compact and a great gift for someone that doesn’t have time to get to a gym or just prefers to work out at home.

Happy Healthy Holidays!
